VR&E

You may receive Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) (Formerly known as Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment) services to help with job training, education, employment accommodations, resume development, and job seeking skills coaching. Other services may be provided to assist Veterans and Service members in starting their own businesses or independent living services for those who are severely disabled and unable to work in traditional employment

If you have a service-connected disability that limits your ability to work or prevents you from working, Veteran Readiness and Employment (formerly called Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment) can help. This program—also known as Chapter 31 or VR&E—helps you explore employment options and address education or training needs. In some cases, your family members may also qualify for certain benefits.

Texas Veterans Leadership Program

The Texas Veterans Leadership Program is a resource and referral network established by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). Its primary mission is to assist returning veterans, particularly those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, by connecting them with various resources and services they may need to reintegrate into civilian life.
